NH Building Set 3 - Complete by Amuscaria NH Building Set 3 - Complete by Amuscaria
Finally finished the last of this set - the Icarus Colony Ship.

All of the following are for New Horizon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Sky Lily: Based this structure off of the Seattle Space Needle. I'm pretty sure something like this will never stand up for long, if at all, but it does make it look more futuristic and sci-fi. The building is about 410-420 meters tall, so pretty large for something this wobbly looking. The base was done in 3D based on a rough sketch and then all the details added in later in Paint Tool Sai.

2. New Chania Home: Just some house for the New Chania faction in New Horizon RPG. I was going to make this in 3D, but the design is far too simple to bother. It's based slightly on Mediterranean-style houses.

3. Caliphis Palace: A large desert canyon palace based on Middle-Eastern architecture styles. This is one of the better buildings I've drawn so far.

4. New Shenadoah Farm: Some futuristic large farm building used for storing grain and packaging it for delivery. It's powered by an integrated wind-mill.

5. Al'Jannah Building: A large skyscraper drawn in the same style as the Caliphis Palace.

6. Wafan Creche: Some sort of school building for New Horizon andriods.

7. Currie Spire: A reserve building situated in the middle of an hazardous area. Scavengers build up huts in the hopes of getting loot, despite the radiation. :/

8. Yggrassil: A large cybernetic tree. Make it look organic to match the surrounded area a bit more.

9. Oscars Row: Some street with hawker stalls and restaurants. This was the hardest one of the bunch so far, and as such, I made quite a few mistakes. I wanted to see the extent of what I can do readily without spending a lifetime on. Didn't come out too pleasing. :/

10. Torrid Redborough: Some underground city/town. I'm not actually sure if I misinterpreted the description, but assumed it was an underground city with domed spanish-esque architectural styles. Again, I tried to push for something a bit more than my usual architecture drawings by making it a scenery instead of just a solitary structure. It is good practice, and did come out better than the Oscars Row. However, still lots more the refine before I can readily draw scenery with accuracy. :/

11. Icarus Colony Ship: A gigantic colony ship that humans used to traveled to the Planet New Horizon, afaik. The original design was a lot more elaborate than this, however since I'm forced to do this by ink pen, I had to simplify it to prevent mistakes during inking. My current inability to draw rounded objects in perspective also limited me to this simple and boring view. Generally, not what I was hoping for, but will have to do for now.

Please ask ~Lysekoid, as they are commissioned by him and therefore his property. Also, he has the high resolution images, which would be much better for coloring.

Dunno, was from a long time ago when the project was a megaman fan-game. Ask *reanimatedfish.

Wow, The sheer amount of Details in Oscars Row are totally insane. I'd been expecting a food cart and a tree! This, though? This is a total mind blower. In case you're overworking yourself because of my descriptions, I'm only giving you huge amounts of detail to help you visualize the building and the area around it, I don't think you really need to kill yourself quite like this!

Oscar's Row is impressive, I like the view of the busy street at more or less eye-level.

Ramen Princess, sounds like a good place to eat.

I love the way you've done the whole futuristic sci-fi look on those buildings! The perspective and the details are very cool. :)

For the New Chania Home, if you want to add some more complex designs, you could possibly add some simple recessed pillars into the outer wall, and possibly a decorative frieze (ala Greece). Another suggestion may be a retractable/permanent canopy on the upper deck of the house (no idea if that would work with the area's weather).

It's for New Horizon right? Shit, it could have antigrav stuff on the bottom we can't see. Problem solved.

I live in Seattle and did an arts project on the Needle. I'm fairly certain your design could be built and stand up quite well to anything thrown at it (outside of Mt. Rainier blowing its top, nuke, or 'The Big Quake' hitting). That and some of the buildings being put up in Dubai put even this to shame (just because your design looks real - some of the stuff they're REALLY building...looks completely sci-fi fake).
